According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. Despite progress in recent years, LGBTQI statistics reveal that 60% of individuals still face alarming rates of verbal harassment and nearly 30% endure physical violence. Furthermore, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that nearly 61 million adults in the U.S. live with a disability, and the National Institute on Aging highlights the increasing number of elderly individuals in need of supportive living arrangements.
Virtue In Solace Foundation provides individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness, victims of domestic violence, gender & sexuality discrimination, and those with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) with safe housing and essential services to rebuild and strengthen their lives.
