A Message From The Founder
Welcome to the Virtue In Solace Foundation Legacy Membership Initiative. Through this initiative your generosity can make a lasting impact on individuals seeking solace, growth, and healing through our shared residency housing. Your contribution ensures that financial barriers do not stand in the way of those in need of “Right Now” support, while simultaneously investing in your future or the future of someone you may know and love.
The Legacy Membership is a special initiative designed to offer contributors an opportunity to donate funds toward residency stays for those who may not have the financial means to cover the complete monthly cost of housing and care provided by Virtue In Solace Foundation. Let’s face it, we’ve all made mistakes in our past (some more costly than others) and have encountered challenges in life that do not prepare us for the financial hardships we face. Be that as it may, we can not change the past, but what we can do “Right Now” is take action and invest in the future.
Your contribution will directly support the 60+ year old Vietnam war veteran drafted at 18 years old that never managed to get reestablished on their return from war, the naturalized immigrant mother of 2 children who couldn’t go to school to further her middle school level education because she worked 3 jobs to give her children the “American Dream, the 17 year old Intellectually and Developmentally Disabled child (IDD) transitioning into adulthood that has dreamed of moving out of their parents home and being independent, or maybe it will help support the “precious” parents or in-laws that you don’t want to end up moving in with you full time…… (Yes, all of these people exist lol)!! Your membership contributions will simultaneously support current and future Virtue In Solace Foundation residents. How will it do that, you ask? How Does it....... Work
Our Legacy Membership is a “Hybrid” initiative that combines everyday responsibilities (Insurance and Long-Term Investing) with compassionate acts (Angel Tree and Pay It Forward). Your Legacy is a long-term investment that provides access to exclusive organization services, discounts, events, and the online members only community. What makes the Legacy initiative so unique is that, in addition to receiving all the wonderful organization benefits, we will also match 50%** of your total contributions towards residency when you or the person you’ve chosen to honor becomes eligible and moves into one of our homes. Your Legacy membership will expedite the approval of your application process and ensure our guaranteed* support.
Here’s how it works:
- Submit a Request for membership approval (Approval email contains registration information)
- Contribute: Choose monthly, quarterly, or annually and pay your initial membership contribution
- Register: Complete your online membership registration
- Remain Anonymous or Recognized: Choose to make your contribution anonymously or allow us to recognize your support on our Members Donor Appreciation Wall
- Allocate your funds: Select who your donations will fund
- Self Funding: You may choose to donate towards your own future residency
- "In Honor Of": You may choose to donate towards a specific individual's housing only
- Group Support: You may choose to donate to a specific group (IDD, Veterans, Domestic Violence, etc.) of individuals that we serve.
- Track Your Impact: See the real-world impact of your generosity by opting to receive updates and stories from individuals who have benefitted from your membership contributions.
- Utilize: Start utilizing and participating in members only services and events
- Tax Benefits: Virtue In Solace Foundation Corp. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making your donations 100% tax-deductible.

As a contributor to the Legacy Membership, you can absolutely specify recipients for your donation. This allows you to directly support someone you know or a particular group of individuals whose residency at Virtue In Solace Foundation Corp. aligns with your values and goals. Here’s how it works:
- Named Recipient: If you wish to fund the residency of someone you know personally, you can provide their information during the registration process. We will apply your funds directly to cover their residency fees, ensuring that your support reaches the intended individual(s).
- Group or Demographic Focus: If you prefer to support a specific group (e.g., veterans, survivors of domestic violence, mental health patients, or artists in need of retreat), you can allocate your funds toward individuals who fall within this category. Our team will ensure that your contribution is directed to applicants who meet the criteria you specify.
- Collaboration with the Foundation: We will coordinate with you to ensure that your specified recipient qualifies for our residency program. In cases where eligibility needs clarification, our team will facilitate a smooth process, working with both the contributor and the recipient.
