IDD Community

At Virtue In Solace Foundation, we believe in empowerment, inclusion, and compassion for every individual. We are here to provide a space where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) can thrive, grow, and experience life with dignity and joy. Our support network is built on understanding, love, and mutual respect for the unique talents and abilities of each person we serve.

In addition to our many services, we offer shared housing options that provide safe, nurturing living environments where individuals can live independently while benefiting from the support of a caring community and 24/7 live in care manager. Our shared housing promotes both independence and social connection, allowing residents to build meaningful relationships while enjoying the comforts of home.

What Motivates Us

Our purpose is simple: to provide care, support, and housing that nurture independence, encourage personal growth, and promote a sense of belonging for members of the IDD community. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with IDD by offering personalized services and safe, supportive housing environments tailored to meet their unique needs.

What We Offer

Live.

Work.

Share.

We provide essential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through our LIVE, WORK, SHARE initiatives.

The LIVE initiative focuses on offering tailored support to help these individuals lead fulfilling, interdependent lives. Services are designed to empower clients to maximize their potential in all aspects of daily living, ensuring they can participate meaningfully in their communities.

The WORK initiative is dedicated to assisting individuals and families with the often challenging transition from school-based services to adult, community-based services. By offering guidance and resources, the foundation helps students prepare for employment or independent living while supporting families in their search for appropriate residential services for both children and adults with IDD.

The SHARE initiative, the foundation encourages community involvement via volunteering and event participation. This initiative creates opportunities for individuals, families, and community members to engage directly with the foundation’s mission, whether by offering their time, skills, or resources to support events, programs, or direct services, thereby fostering a sense of connection and shared purpose.
