Ripple Manager Program
Perhaps the most powerful aspect of the battle against homelessness lies in the unwavering human spirit! It is exemplified in the stories of individuals who refuse to be defined by their circumstances (poverty, domestic violence, disaster, discrimination, etc.). We want to support these individuals and families in the fight to rise above these challenges with tenacity and courage in their journey to stability and success.
At Virtue In Solace Foundation, we are not blind to the many challenges of life, deaf to the cries for help, and will not sit silent in a time where advocacy necessitates more than just the use of our voices. We recognize that homelessness is not just a statistic; instead, it’s only the start of each individual’s unique biography of their journey to unlock their greatest potential. We seek to harvest that potential in a very unique way. Please take a moment to review our Ripple Manager Program details below, and if interested, please do not hesitate to apply.
Program Description
We offer applicants (or families) facing hardships with an all-inclusive stable shared housing environment. Our “Rippler” program provides safe & secure, on-site, live in employment training in one of our “Ripples”. Each “Ripple” is managed by a full-time established “Rippler” who cares for two or three disabled residents of our facilities.
Applicants will learn the policies and procedures of Virtue In Solace Foundation facilities, complete a number of caregiver and emergency services trainings and certifications, and volunteer at various organizations. These skills are necessary to become a full-time or part-time “Rippler”.
At the completion of all trainings and certifications, applicants are prepared to relocate and establish the next “Ripple” of Our Compassion (facility). They will become the primary “Rippler” to independently manage their facility as the full-time, primary, live-in caregiver to three new disabled residents or two new disabled residents and potentially train the next applicant seeking solace in our shared housing environment.
